Our Mission

At The Grief Therapists, we believe everyone deserves compassionate, accessible support through grief and loss. Born from personal experience with loss, we understand that traditional support services don't always meet the complex needs of individuals and organisations navigating grief.

Our mission is to provide warm, professional support that helps both individuals and workplaces find their way forward through loss, combining therapeutic expertise with practical strategies that make a real difference.

Emma's journey into grief support began in 2010 when her eldest son's father died by suicide. This profound loss revealed how challenging it can be to find the right support when you need it most. Through her own experience of navigating grief, Emma recognised the need for accessible, understanding support that combines professional expertise with genuine compassion.

Emma blends counselling and coaching approaches to create a warm, safe space where clients feel truly heard. Her personal experience with loss, combined with extensive professional training, allows her to support others with deep understanding and practical guidance.
